Information in the property is very well compiled and informative. Guests receive an excellent welcome hamper and personal welcome and orientation from either the owner or the housekeeper.
The property has undergone an extensive programme of upgrade to offer a very comfortable standard of accommodation in a stunning, tranquil setting where privacy, peace and quiet are assured. The rooms offer expansive views of the river and countryside beyond. A rowing boat is also available for guests to use for exploration or fishing. The property is of an excellent presentation to the exterior and re-thatching has taken place this year.
Flagstone flooring has underfloor heating for added comfort. New sofas of a high quality and occasional pieces are a high standard. A splendid fireplace with open fire for added ambience with well-placed lighting and lamps aiding tasks. Fine views can be enjoyed from inside and out. All windows are dressed in high-quality blinds and drapes to ensure effective light exclusion. High-quality bed bases with new mattresses made of wool, silk and cashmere and 2500 springs, appearing exceptionally comfortable. Feather bedding with plump, well-protected pillows and all well dressed in an excellent standard of high thread count linens and high-quality soft furnishings. All immaculately presented.
